Mardi serves as the Healthy Communities Program Officer, where she oversees Welborn’s health efforts and creates alignment with community collaborations. She also provides leadership to the Upgrade in Schools initiative.

Mardi has served in Donor Management with Tri-State Food Bank. Before that, she managed her own business and served as a consultant focused on health initiatives. She began her career at the YMCA of Southwestern Indiana as Wellness Director and later became Director of Strategic Health Initiatives. While at the Y, she advanced policy, systems, and environmental change strategies, serving as project manager for the YMCA of the USA’s Activate America Community Health Initiatives and as a partner coach for the Y’s Pioneering Healthier Communities collaboration.
