About the Role
The Healthy Communities Program Manager is responsible for oversight of Upgrade in Schools, a school-based health initiative. As a champion for Upgrade, this person will manage the grant cycle, build and sustain school partnerships, ensure program quality and compliance, and coordinate resources to deliver measurable community outcomes. This position is office-based, in Evansville, with occasional site visits.<
Key Responsibilities
School Partnerships & Site Engagement
- Serve as primary contact for school partners
- Conduct site visits and support implementation
- Facilitate partner training and provide technical assistance
Program Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate cross-sector collaboration among schools, health organizations, and community partners
- Plan proactively for upcoming program phases and grant requirements
- Represent Welborn in community settings relevant to the Healthy Communities program area
