Sam serves as a Marketing and Communications Specialist at Welborn, where he supports the organization’s focus areas, programs, and data projects with their communications and marketing needs. He works closely with Chief Communications Officer Jeff Seymore in managing Welborn’s brands. Sam is an Orr Fellow and serves on the Evansville chapter’s leadership team as Co-Recruitment Director.

Before joining Welborn, Sam studied Political Science, Philosophy, and Economics at Taylor University, with minors in Spanish and Child Psychology. While in school, Sam interned as a Youth Pastor in Colorado Springs, CO; a Social Flourishing researcher in Grand Rapids, MI; a Children’s Worker in Cuenca, Ecuador; a Communications Liaison in Upland, IN; and a Marketing and Brand Manager in Upland, IN.

Sam enjoys games, reading, running, dancing, serving, and spending time outdoors with loved ones.
